Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for the past couple of years now.

And these rumours have really picked up wind during the past couple of months.

Many pundits and bookmakers believe that Eden Hazard will be on his way out of Chelsea next summer and join Real Madrid.

But now the winger has hinted at what the Blues need to do in order to convince him to stay at the club beyond the summer.

“The fans, me, the club and players, we want more and to score more goals for this club,” Eden Hazard said.

“And to try to be a legend, like [Frank] Lampard, [John] Terry and [Didier] Drogba.

“I would [also] score more goals if I play as a winger,

“It’s difficult [getting more chances through the middle]. My position is winger, you know, I feel better as a winger.

“But, like today, I did well as a striker like against Brighton. The manager chooses where to put me on the pitch and I try to do my best.”

“I score more goals,

“But I don’t feel I play better. I just score more goals.”

If you are still unsure as to what Eden Hazard was talking about then the Belgium international was speaking his mind on his role as a false 9 and as a number 10.

Maurizio Sarri has in recent weeks used the left-sided winger on a number of roles in attack and it seems Eden Hazard is not particularly happy with these new roles.

Florentino Perez is planning to launch a bid for the Chelsea playmaker at the end of the season but the Los Blancos might have to shell out something in excess of a 100 million pounds in order to acquire the services of Eden Hazard.

More so when the player’s contract with the Blues runs out in 2020.
