Man United have managed to somewhat steady the ship under Ralf Rangnick and according to Chris Sutton as well as Martin Keown, the Red Devils will rise above the competition and finish in the top-four of the EPL this season.
United beat West Ham United in their previous EPL game and thanks to that 1-0 win they managed to move into the top four. The loss also meant the Hammers, who were holding onto that spot for some time now have fallen down to the fifth position.
According to Sutton, Man United have gathered enough momentum to be able to hold onto the final Champions League come May.
Sutton told the Daily Mail: “With their squad, Manchester United should be finishing fourth. Tottenham have games in hand which, if won, would propel them into the top four. They go to United in March, too, so can take control of this race.
“But United won 3-1 at Brentford – where big clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool have failed to win – and followed that up with a 1-0 win over West Ham. I expect the confidence from those wins to start flowing through them.”
Martin Keown has also backed Rangnick’s side to finish in the top four after beating the Hammers.
Rangnick on Pogba’s future: “I’m happy to have him back in the squad. His contract is expiring in the summer and if, in the end, he would like to stay or go somewhere else he has to show up”. 🔴 #MUFC

Martin Keown added: ”I’m going for United, too, but that isn’t to say I’m totally convinced by them. I don’t think Ralf Rangnick, the players and the supporters are even convinced.
“They’ve resembled a team of under-performers for too long, with players like Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho doing nowhere near enough. But they’ve got themselves into a good position.”
Are Man United the favourites to secure the fourth spot on the EPL table?
Man United looked very much in control vs West Ham United but their frailties once again came to the foreground when Middlesbrough knocked them out of the FA Cup.
So clearly, there’s a lot more drama left in terms of which team finish in the EPL top-four.
Some within Spurs claim Antonio Conte has delivered more home truths behind the scenes to Daniel Levy in just three months than the Spurs chairman has been told in years.

Chelsea might be sitting on the third spot but they have played more games than all the other sides meaning if the others win their games in hand then they will be breathing down their necks. Actually, if Spurs win their four games in hand then they can overtake Tuchel’s side.
The Gunners have won three out of their previous five EPL games and after trimming out his squad in January, Mikel Arteta will be ready to give the Champions League qualification one more crack.
The position in that area of the table is such that no team can convincingly claim that they will be able to finish in the top four. One wrong move from one club and the whole look of the table is going to change.
From now onwards, the team that can grind out results should be the favourites to play in the Champions League next season, along with Liverpool and Manchester City. And to be brutally honest neither of the teams from the 3rd to the 7th spot currently fit into that mould.
