Everton have seen a change in fortune during the past two weeks – first beating Chelsea 3-1 at home and then drawing against Manchester United 1-1 at Old Trafford last weekend.

And this upcoming Saturday they will have to pass one more stern test when they welcome Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.

After picking up four points from their last two outings, the Toffees have now moved out of the relegation zone – three points off 18th placed Southampton.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are 10th on the league table but they too have been going through a really bumpy phase having won just five matches out of 17 in the league so far.

So under normal circumstances, this would have been a pretty even battle but given the form, Arsenal are in right now, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if Everton manage to dominate the game and pick up all three points with considerable ease.

Everton team news vs Arsenal:

The Toffees featured in a midweek game vs Leicester City in the EFL Cup meaning the home side could see a reshuffle in their first XI vs the Gunners on Sunday.

Yerry Mina and Michael Keane started in central defence vs Man United last weekend and we believe the pair will once again be given the nod this Sunday.

Digne picked up a groin strain last weekend at Old Trafford and was replaced by Leighton Baines during the match.

While Baines did also feature vs the Foxes in midweek but the Toffees have no other option but to once again use the senior pro against Arsenal at left-back.

Gylfi Sigurdsson has also been on the sidelines but the Everton camp are hopeful that he will be fit and available for selection before Sunday’s encounter.

Theo Walcott and Morgan Schneiderlin are both recovering from calf strains and have been ruled out of this weekend’s clash.

With Morgan out of action, it is Tom Davies and Holgate who have been playing in central midfield for the Toffees and the same should be the case against Arsenal as well with Iwobi and Bernard playing as the wide midfielders.

Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison has been playing as a pair up front constantly for Everton during the last few games and we are more than sure that they will once again be deployed in the same manner when Arsenal visit Merseyside.
