Rangers FC take on FC Ufa on Thursday in the second leg of the Europa League playoffs and the Light Blues are just one step away from playing in the Europa League.
Steven Gerrard’s side travel to Russia with a 1-0 advantage and not many people feel that the Ufa will be able to cause an upset against such a talented Rangers side.
But Ufa manager Sergei Tomarov knows very well that a 1-0 advantage can be easily turned around and he is hoping that his team can give their 100 % on the pitch and eventually cause an upset.
And winning the game is not his only target after the manager revealed that if his team manages to get into Europe then he might just try and sign a couple of the Rangers’ first team players.

Talking before the Europa League clash vs Rangers, Tomarov said: “Who do I fancy? Rangers have may fine footballers,
“I really liked Alfredo Morelos up front, Connor Goldson in the centre of defence and the captain James Tavernier at right-back.
“However, time isn’t on our side. There isn’t too much time to buy players because the transfer deadline is very soon.”
While Rangers FC are the overwhelming favourites to win the clash on Thursday but their manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed that midfielder Lassana Coulibaly will miss the game since he is yet to recover from his thigh injury. And this absence could very much throw a spanner into the plans of the Light Blues boss.
