A video footage emerged yesterday where it was seen that Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku was trying to kick Brighton’s Gaetan Bong in the nuts during the game on Saturday.
While the incident was not shown on the match day highlights but everyone was certain that the FA will launch an investigation and Lukaku would be slapped with a three-match ban. And both Arsenal and Manchester City fans were particularly happy about this because the ban would have meant that the Belgian would miss games against both these clubs.
Well now the decision is out and to many people’s surprise, Romelu Lukaku escaped a ban for his kick. Romelu Lukaku escaped a ban and hence he is in contention to play the game against Watford on Tuesday.
And many football fans are outraged over the double standards of the FA and have been pointing out to the ban of Everton’s Oumar Niasse for diving.

No idea how Lukaku escapes a ban. Hardly dangerous, but it's a red card in modern football. No consistency.
