Man United have had a really topsy turvy season having dropped points in 16 Premier League games so far.

Up until now, Manchester United have managed to win just nine league matches and are sitting 7th on the table meaning they still have a very good chance of finishing in the top-four and getting back into the Champions League next season.

While United have been struck with a series of injuries but overall, the team have performed poorly especially in and around the midfield area which in turn have made the Old Trafford outfit look poor and toothless even against smaller sides.

And despite manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer putting up a brave face infront of the media, midfielder Fred has now come out to reveal the various problems which plague the first-team squad right now.

‘We are lacking a lot right now, first of all we need to figure out things on the pitch, we are lacking creativity, especially in midfield,’ Fred said in an interview with Ale Oliveira, as quoted by Metro.

‘We also need to improve as a group, our group lacks the ‘sticking together mentality’, we have lots of problems.

‘There are a lot of discussions, every group has this sort of problem, but ours has this.

‘Vanity is also an issue and we need to stop this and just run on the pitch. We need to stick a goal inside our minds, focus on it and go forward.

‘We need to be on the same page and today some players have different objectives, there are players that just want to solve problems alone and this is wrong.’

The likes of Paul Pogba, McTominay and Rashford still remain sidelined meaning Solskjaer has lost out on a significant amount of talent.

But despite Man United managed to make only two signings last month which is nowhere close to what the fans had been expecting from Ed Woodward.
