Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane recently made it pretty clear that Gareth Bale will be leaving the club this summer.

While the exit of Gareth Bale has been talked about for a couple of transfer seasons now but the way, Zizou chose to announce the news came as a shock to many a people.

“Bale did not play because he is very close to leaving,” Zidane had said via ESPN.

“We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.

“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done, I have to make decisions. We have to change.

“The exit is the coach’s decision, and also of the player, who knows the situation.

“The situation will change, I do not know if in 24 or 48 hours, but it will, and it’s a good thing for everyone.”

The Real Madrid boss was pretty cold-hearted when talking about the future of Gareth Bale and this is why he has received a lot of negative criticism from almost every quarter.

All said and done though, now everyone is busy trying to figure out which club will the Welshman join and amongst this, Paul Ince has suggested that he moves to Liverpool.

Here’s why:

‘For me, if Liverpool could afford him, he should go to Liverpool,’ the former midfielder told BBC Radio 5 live(as reported by the Daily Mail).

‘If you look at the front three, they have played all summer so how much rest are they going to get before the season starts?

‘Bale can play on the right, he can play left and he can play central. They have got Origi and Shaqiri but are they good enough?

‘It can’t be about money for Bale, he needs to go to a team who can win things – the European champions, the team that finished second in the Premier League.’
