English Premier League

Last season the Premier League was a two-horse race but this campaign it looks like Liverpool do not even have a close enough challenger.

Man City managed to defend their title last season by virtue of one point but the Citizens are right now third on the league table – 16 points behind leaders Liverpool.

And according to pundit Gary Neville, Liverpool look truly invincibles this season and are doing everything to win their maiden Premier League title.

Neville told Sky Sports, as quoted by Metro: “They are outstanding, brilliant to watch and doing everything a championship-winning team should be doing.

“I can’t see anyone stopping them. The records for Klopp are incidental right now. The only thing that matters is lifting the Premier League trophy.

“I think the lead is unassailable. Klopp will never say it but his team are playing so well and are so in control and they are still growing and getting better.

“He won’t care if he loses one or two games, he just wants that trophy.

“When we were asking Pep last year about records, because City have won it before they probably could look to beat their previous title victories but for Liverpool it’s all about getting that first Premier League title.”

During the 2019-20 season, only Man United have been able to gather two points off of Liverpool in the Premier League and as things stand, it is more or less certain that the Anfield outfit will be lifting the league trophy.

Leicester City have worked hard to maintain their second spot on the league table but we are more or less certain that neither the Foxes nor Man City will be able to catch Liverpool and it’s now only a matter of reducing the points difference.
