Spurs forward Harry Kane has been the top centre-forward in the Premier League for some time now but he has now hinted that his future might lie elsewhere.
Over the past couple of months, there have been rumours that the England captain might look to head out of Spurs in the summer and these beliefs have strengthened even further after the club have appointed Jose Mourinho as their new manager.
Some rumours claim that Manchester United and Real Madrid are interested in signing Harry Kane in the summer and now their chances have received a significant boost after the 26-year-old has admitted that he could be heading out.
Speaking to Jamie Redknapp on an Instagram Q&A, Harry Kane has said that if Spurs do not win silverware then he might think of joining a new club in the near future.
‘It’s one of those things – I couldn’t say yes and I couldn’t say no’, he said while talking about a possible exit.
‘I love Spurs, I’ll always love Spurs but I’ve always said if I don’t feel we’re progressing as a team or going in the right direction, I’m not someone to stay there for the sake of it,
‘I’m an ambitious player, I want to improve, get better and become one of the top, top players.
‘It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team
‘So it’s not a definite I’m going to stay there forever, but it’s not a no either.’
Can Man United sign Harry Kane?
Man United have been heavily linked with a move for Harry Kane in the summer but we don’t think the Red Devils will be able to get their hands on him.
Yes, United have the financial backing to bring a player like Kane onboard but besides then teams like Real Madrid and now Juventus have also grown a liking towards the England captain.
And if Kane’s ambition is to win trophies in the near future then the likes of Madrid and Juventus will be much safer bets rather than Manchester United.
But having said that, Ole’s side do have one massive advantage in signing Harry Kane in the summer since some experts believe the England captain will want to remain in the Premier League right under the eyes of Gareth Southgate.
