Manchester United players Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire both picked up knocks during their Carabao Cup win vs Chelsea and there are doubts over their participation this weekend.

The Red Devils travel to Dean Court this weekend to take on Bournemouth and there have been reports that the duo might not feature in the first XI on Saturday.

Both Harry Maguire and Rashford were seen limping during the final stages of the match in midweek which has led to many rumours that the pair might not recover in time to take on the Cherries.

While these rumours have been strong but Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has doused all these fears claiming the players should be fit in time before the Premier League clash.

“We’re playing football, it’s not basketball,” Solskjaer told MUTV[as reported by The Mirror].

“Some of them are sore but you should be absolutely down on your knees because it’s worth it.

“But they’re quick healers and hopefully they’ll be ready for Saturday.”

Marcus Rashford scored a superb free-kick on Wednesday which ultimately proved to be the winner vs the Blues and Harry Maguire too had a good enough outing(apart from being beaten by Batshuayi for the Chelsea goal).

So the fact that they will be fit for the Bournemouth clash will surely be good news for the Man United fans.

Harry Maguire seems to have settled down well in central defence alongside Victor Lindelof and the pair have looked solid especially when Man United are playing away from home.

Marcus Rashford lost a bit of form during the past few games but ever since he has moved back to the wing, things seem to have fallen back in place for the England international.

And with the pair fully fit(possibly), they will surely be one of the first names on Solskjaer’s teamsheet on Saturday.
