Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin could be on the way out of the Emirates at the end of the current season – as per reports.

The right-back has really struggled with injuries this season and so far he’s played in only eight Premier League games having failed to provide even a single assist.

Last week there were reports of Serie A side Inter Milan wanting to sign him during the summer and now even Atletico Madrid seem to have joined the transfer race.

While some rumours have claimed the player wants to head back to Spain but Mikel Arteta has been pretty clear about the player’s future hinting that he isn’t going anywhere.

But now with more than one club interested in signing him, the Arsenal manager might and should have a change of heart and cash in on the right-back.

Bellerin has been a wonderful servant for Arsenal ever since his move to the Emirates youth structure in 2011 but to be honest he hasn’t contributed immensely towards the cause

Yes the player has been a key force in going forward and he can surely trouble defenders with his electric pace but that assist tally of his has not seen a major increase over the past couple of seasons.

In 2017-18, Hector Bellerin provided only three assists in the Premier League and last season, the Spaniard could add only two more to that tally.

So clearly he is not the most perfect right-back in the Premier League meaning if the Gunners can squeeze out a hefty transfer fee for him, Mikel Arteta can use that money in a much better way.

Atletico Madrid are known to be big spenders in the league while Inter Milan too have made a flurry of signings over the past two transfer windows. So if they are willing to pay top dollar for Bellerin, there’s every chance Arsenal might agree to offload him.

But having said all this, before Arteta even thinks of selling Hector Bellerin, the first thing he will have to do is to bring in an apt replacement since right now the Spaniard is the only top right-back in the Gunners squad.
