Chelsea are set to lose Eden Hazard during the summer transfer window and many believe the player has already played his final game of the domestic season.

Eden Hazard has been in fine form for Chelsea this season and he might very well wear the Blue jersey for one final time when the Blues take on Arsenal in the Europa League final later this month.

The Belgian international has made it clear that he has made his decision and reports claim that Real Madrid will announce the signing after the Europa League final.

If this happens then it will be a huge blow for the Blues given that there is a transfer ban imposed on the team which bars them from signing new players during the summer transfer window.

But according to former Chelsea man Cascarino, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will have to step up for the upcoming season and fill the void left behind by Eden Hazard.

“If Eden Hazard does leave Chelsea, they are really going to have to rely on their young players like Ruben Loftus-Cheek to step up and fill the big hole he’ll leave,” former Blues striker Tony Cascarino told BETDAQ(as reported by Football London).

“It’s very difficult for a club to keep a player of his quality when they aren’t challenging for the biggest trophies and the title on a regular basis,

“The big problem for Chelsea is that players like Hazard will expect to add trophies to their CV. Therefore, it’s natural that he’ll be eyeing up a move away to progress his career if Chelsea aren’t challenging for the Premier League.

“If you’re taking the winning out of them because the club isn’t good enough, then, in my opinion, they have every right to move on.

“I’m not sure Real Madrid will want to pay astronomical sums for a 28 or 29-year-old when there could be younger and probably better value for money options on the market.”

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has seen a fair amount of game time this season under Maurizio Sarri and during the second half of the season, the Italian manager has shown more faith on the England international.

If the transfer ban is upheld then surely, Loftus-Cheek will be the man who will take Eden Hazard’s place on the left wing for the 2019-20 season.

But the big question is whether the 23-year-old can have the same sort of impact as Eden Hazard?
