Here’s how Manchester City could line up against Fulham

Manchester City are chasing down Arsenal in the Premier League title race and this weekend, they are set to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.

City are currently one point behind league leaders Arsenal but they do have a game in hand which means if they can win all their remaining matches they will be able to defend their league title. The pressure will obviously be on Manchester City because they cannot afford even one slip-up but Guardiola’s side have become pros at handling pressure towards the business end of the season.

Arsenal could drop points on Sunday because they are set to face Manchester United so if Manchester City can beat Fulham they might end this matchweek two points ahead of the Gunners.

Since Man City’s loss to Real Madrid, City are undefeated and in four matches, they have scored 12 goals while conceding just one. Saturday’s game should be a straight-forward win for Pep’s team and we can’t see any other result.

Manchester City’s team news and injuries:

Pep Guardiola has a fully-fit squad to choose from and we are confident that the manager is not going to make unnecessary changes to his starting line up that played against Wolves.

Nathan Ake was the only poor performer in the 5-1 win over Wolves so he is likely to be benched this weekend with Ruben Dias coming back into the side.

Rodri and Kovacic played as the two holding midfielders and they will hold onto their positions on Saturday as well.

Phil Foden played as the left-winger in the last game but against Fulham, he is going to move back to the right-hand side which means Bernardo Silva is going to be on the bench. Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku both started the game on the bench in the last matchweek but this time around, Doku is expected to be selected over Grealish.

Grealish’s time seems to be over at Manchester City as the club is planning to sell him during the summer transfer window. City feel that Jack Grealish has failed to justify his price tag and now they are ready to cut their losses by offloading him.

Erling Haaland ran riot against Wolves, scoring four goals and we are expecting another goal fest this weekend. Haaland has now scored 25 goals in 28 league games and with three games remaining, the Norwegian is likely to break the 30-goal barrier in the Premier League.

Manchester City predicted line up vs Fulham:

Predicted Starting XI(4-2-3-1): Ederson; Ruben Dias, Akanji, Kyle Walker, Gvardiol; Rodri, Kovacic; De Bruyne, Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden; Erling Haaland.
