Arsenal fans have been eagerly waiting for their club to sign a couple of new players during the January transfer window.

And multiple reports have suggested that Barcelona misfit Denis Suarez will be the first man to arrive at the Emirates.

Rumours have it the Gunners have also made contact with Belgium international Yannick Carrasco.

But now Unai Emery has provided a piece of really depressing news to all the Arsenal fans.

Last week, some reports were claiming that Barcelona wanted to sell off Suarez permanently while Arsenal were only interested in a short-term loan spell.

And now the Arsenal boss has revealed why the club want the Barcelona man on a six-month loan spell.

Unai Emery has made it clear that the club do not have any money to make permanent signings and any player that arrives this month will be on a loan contract.

“We cannot sign permanently. We can only loan players. Only loan players.” Emery said.

And this has infuriated the Gunners fans who have demanded the club to tell them where all the money has been going more so since the club have accumulated a profit of £65M over the past three years – as per reports.

But one thing that the fans are happy about is the fact that Unai Emery is someone who is not ready to shield his owners and say it as it is.

On the other hand, Arsenal’s previous manager who had the same kind of problem rarely spoke out anything on these matters.

Wenger was someone who was constantly shielding Kroenke despite the owner not pumping even a single penny into the club from his own pocket.
