Arsenal strolled past Vorskla in the Europa League on Thursday and they now shift their focus to Tottenham for the North London Derby.

With the win against the Ukranian side, the Gunners have now stretched their unbeaten run to 18 games in all competitions. But with Spurs this weekend, Unai Emery has a mountain to climb.

The Lilywhites have been in brilliant form – first inflicting Chelsea’s first defeat of the season last weekend and then going on to beat Inter Milan in the Champions League.

While reputation and form matter very little during the North London Derby but Arsenal superfan Piers Morgan has given a very honest opinion as to what will happen if the Gunners were to lost the derby on Sunday.

“Tottenham have never won the Premier League in my lifetime – and I’m not a young man.” Piers Morgan told talkSPORT.

“We know they have a tendency to choke and I believe the choke is coming on Sunday when the north London dominance, which has been drifting in recent years, will be reasserted with a thumping Arsenal win, led by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

“There’s an excitement now at Arsenal which is that we feel like things are happening again… and that’s down to Unai Emery.

“There’s a new energy, a new dynamism, the fans have got hope again.

“But Sunday will be a test because Tottenham are playing well.

“If we beat them, we would go above them in the table and, for me, that makes this the biggest game of the season.

“However, we’re 18 games unbeaten in all competitions and we’re 11 games unbeaten in the Premier League, but if we lose to Spurs on Sunday all of that will be forgotten.”

A win for Arsenal would mean they will go above Tottenham Hotspur on the Premier League table and enter the top four.
