Man United are on a roll since the 2019-20 season restarted and they are yet to taste defeat. On Thursday, they picked up yet another easy win, this time beating Aston Villa away from home.

Bruno Fernandes was once again the orchestrator of the match, scoring and assisting one goal in the 3-0 thumping at Villa Park and people are finally starting to see what Ole Gunner Solskjaer is trying to build at the club.

The likes of Pogba and Fernandes have really shone for Man United over the past couple of games but the manager still needs to bring in a couple of new players in order to truly turn his side into a formidable force next season.

But while discussing future spendings, the Man United boss was quick to warn against harbouring too many big dreams for the upcoming transfer window.

“There’s got to be realism,” he said, as per Sky Sports.

“I think the whole world has changed both financially and the perception that we’ve got on values. Every time I put the case in front of Ed (Woodward) I think it’s a sensible one and it’s a realistic one.

“I think I’ve proven to the club that I’ve always got the club at the front of my mind. I don’t think short term or personally that this would fit me for a short space of time.

“I’ll always think long term and try to make good deals. I’m always quite careful with money – my personal money as well.”

Some reports have suggested that the Man United boss is looking to bring in at least three new signings before the new season begins.

He wants to add an attacker(preferably Jadon Sancho), a defensive midfielder and a left-footed centre-back during the summer but we have to wait and see if the OT management are willing to spend big or not.

Many major clubs have made it clear they will not splash unnecessary money in the market in the summer but Man United are one club who’s hierarchy have remained very much tight-lipped.
