Man United midfielder Andreas Pereira is easily one of the most patient footballers to ever grace the club.
The Brazilian joined Man United’s youth team from PSV in 2012 and since then he has been constantly looking to break into the first team squad.
Andreas Pereira has moved around various clubs on loan spells but the midfielder has always been confident that he will get his opportunity.
Pereira’s current deal with Man United expires in the summer and many teams were interested in signing him on loan during the January transfer window.
But caretaker boss Solskajer refused to send him out on loan claiming that the midfielder has an important role to play in the first team during the second half of the season.
And now it looks like Manchester United have triggered a one-year extension in his deal which means Andreas Pereira is staying at Old Trafford next season too.
This move from the Premier League club certainly goes on to show that Solskjaer wants him to stay at the club and the extension is so that both the parties can get time to negotiate the terms of a new deal.
Andreas Pereira has so far played in only 14 games this season – scoring only a single goal but recently the Brazilian has seen some game time due to the number of injuries that the other players have suffered.
