Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are the latest club interested in signing Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, as per The Telegraph.
Mike McGrath writes: “Bayer Leverkusen are surprise contenders for Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin.
“The Spanish full-back is a target for clubs looking to tempt him away from the Emirates Stadium for a new challenge, with Leverkusen showing ambition in the transfer market for their Europa League challenge this season.
“They have also shown an interest in Tottenham’s Serge Aurier as they look to add an experienced right-back with the money from Kai Havertz’s move to Chelsea.”
Will Hector Bellerin be sold by Arsenal?
Bellerin has been in and out of the Arsenal squad during the 2019/20 season due to various injuries and now as per the latest rumours, Mikel Arteta might just be thinking of selling him.
Intially, the manager was not interested in parting ways with the full-back but the recent £30million bid from Paris Saint-Germain seems to have changed his mind.
The manager wants money to bring in new players this summer and selling Hector Bellerin for a substantial transfer fee could solve a lot of the initial problems.
And Bayer Levekusen have money to spend in the market after selling midfielder Kai Havertz for a steep fee to Chelsea recently.
While Hector Bellerin is not heading out immediately but the Gunners boss is now surely ready to show him the exit door if a good enough offer comes his way.
