Neymar playing for Brazil
Neymar Brazil

Neymar is planning to leave PSG at the end of the current season and as per 90Min(via Fotmob) the Brazilian could be on his way to the Premier League.

Neymar’s current deal with PSG runs out in 2025 but there have been rumours that he is unhappy in France and wants to leave as soon as possible. This fear seems to be very real now because PSG are willing to cash in on him in the summer rather than hold onto an unhappy superstar for two more years.

As per the report, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and even Newcastle United have all been offered the winger’s services as the player’s representatives have held talks with each one of them.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has recently met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to discuss a possible transfer of Neymar and if this report is true then we don’t know about the other clubs but the Blues are definitely going to launch a bid in the summer.

Neymar is already 31 years old so we don’t think Manchester City or Manchester United will be too keep to bring him on board. City already have apt left-wingers like Foden and Jack Grealish whereas Erik ten Hag is focusing on young talent at United.

The Brazilian international is currently valued at €75 million and there’s no way the Liverpool owners will be ready to so much money in the summer. They have brought Gakpo and Darwin Nunez this season so we don’t think Klopp will be given any more attacking reinforcements this year.

Newcastle United though could try and go after Neymar because they have cash-rich Saudi owners. The Magpies are steadily moving up the ladder under Eddie Howe and if they can somehow get into the Champions League then Neymar will automatically become a realistic target.

Despite spending so much money in January, the new Chelsea owner will welcome Neymar with open arms but the winger will only agree to join them if they can remain in the UCL. Currently, the Blues are 10th on the Premier League table and there’s no way the PSG superstar will agree to play in a non-UCL team.

To conclude, not a not of clubs can afford to sign a player like Neymar so in the end, either he will have to drop his wages and other demands or a club like Chelsea or Newcastle will have to go out of their way and sign him.
