Arsenal are currently the frontrunners in signing winger Ryan Fraser on a free transfer during the summer – as per reports.
Ryan Fraser is currently playing for AFC Bournemouth since joining the club from Aberdeen in 2013 but his current deal with the Cherries expires in the summer and he will not be signing a new deal at the club.
A number of clubs are interested in signing the winger but by the looks of it, the North London club are in pole position to sign him at the end of the season.
This is not the first time that Arsenal have been linked with the 26-year-old as they wanted to sign him last summer too but the deal did not go through.
Is Ryan Fraser the right man for Arsenal?
During the 2018-19 season, Ryan Fraser provided 14 assists and scored 7 goals in 38 Premier League goals so it was understandable that the Gunners wanted to sign him.
But this season the winger has not been able to replicate the same form since so far he has only been able to four assists in 28 league matches and has also hinted that the interest from Arsenal might have played with his mind.

Ryan Fraser had said: “Maybe it hasn’t helped. Subconsciously, you might think about it. I’m just trying to get on with my work. Every player says that.”
Under no circumstances has Fraser been in fine form this season but he will be available as a free agent in the summer which is a massive deal for Arsenal.
The Gunners will be working on a small budget during the summer meaning they will have to save up money for their biggest signings.
And in such a scenario signing the Cherries winger for free will surely be a good bit of business from the North London side.
But while Fraser was an automatic first-choice player for Bournemouth, if he decides to join Arsenal then he will mostly have to come off the bench since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also plays down the left flank.
