Liverpool take on Everton in the Merseyside Derby this Sunday and before the match the Reds have some sorting out to do.

Liverpool their previous Champions League encounter to PSG and now their European campaign hangs in the balance.

If the Reds fail to win their final group game then they could very well be playing in the Europa League next year.

And amidst this tension, Jurgen Klopp’s men welcome Everton at home.

One of the biggest problems that Liverpool had during the 2-1 loss to PSG was the fact that they did not test Gigi Buffon. In fact their only shot on target way the penalty that James Milner had scored right before half-time.

After the defeat, everyone has been pointing fingers at Liverpool’s midfield claiming that they are not good enough to break now top class oppositions.

But the Liverpool manager has come out to strongly rebuff this statement claiming there is nothing wrong with his midfield.

“I don’t see any problems in midfield,” Jurgen Klopp insisted.

“I get constantly confronted with the question – something is missing. Creating is not a problem.”

“Bringing one player in would change everything? That is bull**** and you all know that. One player doesn’t change everything,”

And if you look at it logically then Jurgen Klopp has every right to defend his midfielders especially after what they have been delivering in the Premier League.

Liverpool are yet to lose a game in the league but it is their European campaign which needs sorting out.

And for that to happen we feel Jurgen Klopp first needs to settle down on who his first choice midfielders are going to be?

Liverpool are currently just two points off league leaders Manchester City and they will have to win the derby if they wish to keep the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s team.
