Spurs travel across London this weekend to take on Arsenal and Danny Rose could get his first start in more than a month.

Danny Rose suffered a groin strain during the first week of October and since then the England international has been recovering.

And the left-back has made himself available at the perfect time.

Danny Rose trained with the first team during the past week and reports suggest he can start the game against Arsenal on Sunday.

Ben Davies has done a fine job in the absence of Danny Rose but the fact of the matter is that Davies has played two high-intensity games during the past week.

And to use the already tired left-back for the North London Derby could play the tie right into Arsenal’s hands.

But playing Danny Rose also comes with its fair share of gambles.

The first big problem would be his match fitness. The player has been out for close to two months missing nine games.

And with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin haring down the left flank, Danny Rose could be in for a nightmare this weekend.

Spurs will be desperately trying to avoid defeat as a loss at the hands of Arsenal could see Mauricio Pochettino’s men slide out of the top four of the Premier League table.
