Mo Salah might be on the verge of leaving Liverpool in the summer and there’s a chance that he could join one of Liverpool’s English rivals, as per Football Insider.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had recently claimed that talks between Mo Salah and the club had broken down and if his demands are not met then the Egyptian could be moving out.

He wrote on Twitter: “Salah and his agent have no intention to accept current new contract bid from Liverpool. Talks have broken down since December, as things stand.

“Mo’s priority is to stay – but not at current conditions. Let’s see Liverpool next move.”

Now, Football Insider has dropped this bombshell claiming that Salah will want to remain in the Premier League and this automatically means that several sides would be ready to pounce as he enters the final year of his contract.

Is Mo Salah set to join Manchester City?

If Mo Salah is not ready to sign a new deal then Liverpool will obviously have to sell him this summer itself and so far Real Madrid were said to be the primary suitors for the winger.

But if he is eager to remain in England then we are sure that clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United will all be ready to break the bank for him.

While these sides have a good enough chance to sign him but in reality, Manchester City is the only conceivable destination for him at the moment. City and Liverpool are the two biggest powerhouses in the EPL at the moment and if Mo Salah is indeed leaving Anfield then he will do so to get a handsome pay rise as well as to win trophies.

Man City, fortunately, can provide both so there’s no doubt Pep Guardiola will be standing at the front of the queue if Liverpool decide to put Mo Salah up for sale in the coming months.

Real Madrid though will not give up without a fight and since Man City are trying to sign Erling Haaland as well, there’s a chance that Guardiola might not be given the budget for two big-name signings.

Madrid, on the other hand, will be getting Kylian Mbappe for free so they will have money to spare to go after a player like Mo Salah.
