Manchester United have been chasing Jadon Sancho for more than a year now and it seems like they have finally been able to get their hands on him.

Over the past 24 hours, there has been a lot of chatter about United making progress in this transfer and as per the various sources, Jadon Sancho should be a Manchester United player really soon.

Man United had offered to pay £75m for the England international but Borussia Dortmund are holding out for a fee of £77m. Now as per the Daily Mail, the Premier League outfit have finally decided to pay up.

Jordan Seward writes: “Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing Jadon Sancho after finally agreeing to pay Borussia Dortmund’s £77million asking price.

“The England winger, who has only played nine minutes at Euro 2020, was the subject of a £75m offer earlier in the week from United.

“That bid was swiftly rejected with Dortmund handing United a ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ offer of €90m (£77m) for the 21-year-old.”

When will Man United announce the signing of Jadon Sancho?

This will be a landmark deal for Manchester United since their right-hand side of attack badly needed an upgrade and the 21-year-old will be the perfect player to slot into that role.

Originally a product of the Manchester City academy, Sancho moved to Germany in 2017 and since then, he has turned into one of the most prolific goalscorers at the club.

In his 137 games for Dortmund, Jadon Sancho has scored 50 and assisted 64 goals across all competitions. Primarily a right-winger, the England international can also operate on the left-hand side and also as a No 10.
