Tottenham Hotspur are set to rejoin the transfer race to sign Norwich City full-back Max Aarons, a player who is on the radar of Manchester United as well, according to Sky Sports.

The report claims: “Tottenham have renewed their interest in Max Aarons, joining a growing list of clubs chasing the Norwich right-back this summer.

“Managerless Tottenham are also keen on Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey – but the south-coast club are said to want as much as £50m for him.

“Aarons – said to be valued in the region of £30m by Norwich – could present a more affordable option. The Canaries want Aarons to sign new terms, however, despite three years still remaining on his contract, having starred in their promotion back to the Premier League.”

Where will Max Aarons be playing next season?

Serge Aurier looks to be on his way out of Tottenham this summer so it makes sense why Daniel Levy has chosen to reignite his interest in someone like Max Aarons.

Manchester United have also been linked with the 21-year-old but as things stand, Solskjaer is much more likely to make a move for Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier rather than going after the Norwich youngster.

Norwich City are not too keen to cash in on the England U21 international this summer which is why they want to make him put pen on paper to a new deal.

Daniel Farke has already lost Emi Buendia to Aston Villa in the summer and the last thing he will want is to sell Aarons as well, right before his side return to the Premier League.

The right-back is valued at £18 million according to TransferMarkt but since he has three more years left on his current deal, £30 million seems a fair quote from the Canaries.

Man United and Spurs are both more than capable of paying the quoted price but United have shown no real movement in this alley for some time so we believe Spurs will find it fairly easy to get their hands on Max Aarons – if they are serious about signing him.
