Rangers FC have made an aggressive start to the new year and have already sealed loan deals for Steven Davis and Jermain Defoe.

But these two players are not the only ones who are close to joining the Gers.

According to reports, Steven Gerrard’s team are also closing in on deals for Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones and Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara.

Defoe and Davis are short-term patch-up work from the manager but his biggest achievements this month will be the acquisitions of Jordan Jones and Kamara – when the transfers go through.

Sadly enough though, the duo will only sign pre-contract with the Gers since they still have six months left on their deals at their respective clubs.

Jordan Jones primarily plays down the left wing and the player will be the ideal replacement for Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent.

Apart from the left wing, Jordan Jones can also play in the midfielder which will surely win him some brownie points with Steven Gerrard.

Glen Kamara is a youth product of Arsenal’s famed academy and after moving across England on various loan spells, the defensive midfielder finally joined Dundee in the summer of 2017.

This season, the 23-year-old has already made 18 appearances for Dundee – scoring three goals.

Jordan Jones, on the other hand, has played 24 games in all competitions for Kilmarnock having scored two goals and provided four assists.

Both Kamara and Jordan Jones are free agents at the end of the season meaning Rangers will not have to pay a penny for the services of the duo. And this makes the deals even more attractive.
