Rangers have signed pre-contracts with Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara this month.

Both Kamara and Jordan Jones are out of contract at their respective clubs during the summer and some reports have suggested that the Gers might try and bring them to Ibrox this month itself.

At first, it was suggested that Dundee were ready to hand over Glen Kamara to Rangers this month in return of a transfer fee and many fans wanted the Gers to take the offer.

But now, Mark Allen has made it clear that the move is not likely to happen and Kamara will join Rangers at the end of the season.

Then came the news about Jordan Jones who received a fair bit of backlash for his social media post after he had signed the pre-contract and many Kilmarnock fans wanted the club to let him go in January.

Now though, Jordan Jones has come out to clear the air claiming that he remains committed to Kilmarnock until the end of the season.

Jones said“I’m fully committed to Kilmarnock until the summer. I won’t leave in this window.

“Everyone has an opinion in football and they are maybe a bit upset in way it was done but my team-mates and gaffer know how committed it is.

“I need to show to the fans. Looking back at the tweet I was over excited and it was a bit of inexperience but I can’t take it back. I can only win them back with performances.

“I’ve always tried to give my best in two-and-a-half years and commitment never in question. That won’t change.

“It’s happened. The Rangers thing is put to the side until the summer. It’s old news. I’m fully focused on helping Kilmarnock.

“The only opinions that matters to me are the gaffers and manager. It’s up to me to change fans’ views.”

Many Gers fans were hoping to see Jordan Jones and Kamara at Ibrox this month which in turn would have helped the club push for the Premiership title.

But now it seems, Steven Gerrard will have to do with the players that he currently has.
