Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp is one of the best-attacking sides in Europe this season and their performance against Barcelona this week was another example of that.

While other teams have struggled to cope up with Catalans at Camp Nou, Liverpool were one of the few teams who took the fight to them.

In the second half of the match, Liverpool were easily the more dominant side and they did everything but score.

And after this performance, many Liverpool fans are confident that their team can still turn around the 3-0 deficit in the second leg.

While everyone from fans to pundits have been raving about the way Liverpool are performing under Jurgen Klopp but the harsh reality is that they have failed to win any silverware.

Jurgen Klopp was appointed as the Liverpool boss in October of 2015 and since then they have come close to winning trophies a number of times.

But four years have passed and the German manager is still searching for his first big success at the club.

And this is in stark contrast to what he had said when he was appointed the Liverpool manager.

Klopp said at that time: “Last night we signed the contract and this morning I wake and I’m the manager of Liverpool FC.

“Please give us time to do the work but when I sit here in four years I think we may have one title. If not maybe [I’ll win] the next one in Switzerland.”

After the 3-0 drubbing vs Barcelona and the fact that Man City are now in pole position to win the Premier League title, many rival fans have dug up this statement of Jurgen Klopp in order to mock the Anfield outfit.

A number of rival fans(read Man United faithful) have urged Jurgen Klopp to pack his bags and head for Switzerland during the summer transfer window.
