Kieran Tierney had joined Arsenal from Celtic during the summer transfer window but the youngster has hardly featured for the Gunners this season.

Right now, the full-back is on the sidelines recovering from a shoulder dislocation and so far he’s managed to play in only five Premier League matches for the Emirates outfit.

The player though has undergone surgery and as per reports he’s already started non-contact training session which has led many people to believe that Kieran Tierney could return back early.

While his return to the training grounds is surely good news for the Gunners as well as Scotland but the Premier League club are surely not ready to rush him back into action.

As per reports, Kieran Tierney could be fully fit by mid-March which if true will surely be a huge boost for the Scotland national team since they take on Israel in the EURO 2020 qualifiers towards the end of March.

And speaking to the press, Scotland boss Steve Clarke looked optimistic about the return of Kieran Tierney along with his two other injured players Scott McTominay and John McGinn.

He said as quoted: “I am keeping my fingers crossed that the three mentioned recover well and can be available in March.

“It will be close for all of them but always hopeful, never ruling anyone out at this stage.

“There is still a long time to go before we get to March.”

Kieran Tierney was supposed to play a key part in Arsenal’s first XI this season but first a hernia operation and then this shoulder injury has really pushed him in the back foot meaning the next pre-season will be make or break for the youngster.
