Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson has been a revelation for the Reds this past season and many pundits believe that Celtic’s Kieren Tierney could be the next in line for glory.

Robertson started his career at Dundee and after having an impressive season with Hull City, he finally established himself as the best left-back in Europe with the Anfield outfit during the 2018-19 season.

While Kieren Tierney is still not on the same level as his Scottish captain but with a move to England looming large this summer Kris Boyd feels that the Celtic man could try and emulate Andrew Robertson.

“I think this is a massive, massive summer for Kieran Tierney,” Boyd said on Sky Sports(as reported).

“When you get the opportunity to move to some of the clubs Kieran Tierney has been linked with, it doesn’t come along very often and it might just be the right time (to move).

“You see them in the Scotland squad together, Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney, and they are the two that are always compared to each other.

“He has seen Roberton lift the Champions League, that’ll annoy him, he’ll be pleased, but it’ll annoy him. I wouldn’t be surprised this summer if Kieran Tierney goes also.”

And if Kieran Tierney does want to follow in the footsteps of Robertson then surely it will be great news for Arsenal since Unai Emer’s side have been heavily linked with the left-back during the whole of 2019.

Reports suggest that Kieran Tierney has made up his mind to move to the Premier League for the upcoming season with a number of clubs interested in signing him.

Celtic know it for a fact that it will be impossible to hold onto their full-back this summer and they have slapped a price tag of around £25 million on him.

And this could be a real cause of concern for Arsenal since Emery has only around £45 million to spend this transfer window.
