Kylian Mbappe was the star of the show during PSG’s dismantling of Man United in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16.

While many PSG fans were a tad bit worried due to the absence of Neymar and Edinson Cavani but the World Cup winner stepped up to weave his magic at Old Trafford.

Kylian Mbappe along with Angel Di Maria ripped apart United’s defence in the second half and the former ended up scoring a goal.

Without a doubt, Mbappe is currently the best youngster in the world and he has shown that in the absence of the superstars he can easily take up the responsibility.

And speaking before Bayern Munich trip to Anfield for the Champions League clash, defender David Alaba has revealed how Kylian Mbappe can actually help them beat Liverpool next week.

“Salah’s one of the best players in the world,” Alaba said in Bild.

“He’s fast, but I’ve played against other fast players such as Mbappe. I know from experience that it is crucial that I use my strengths.

“It definitely will not be an easy game,

“But, of course, we believe in ourselves because we know our strength.

“We are Bayern Munich and we don’t have to hide from any opponent!

“We will give everything to emerge from the duel successfully in the end.”

Bayern Munich last faced PSG in the group stages of the Champions League back in 2017-18.

And the German side managed to come out on top during the encounter.

David Alaba came up against Kylian Mbappe and the French sensation had a relatively quiet game even though he managed to net one goal.

Mo Salah will pose a similar kind of threat but unlike PSG, Bayern do not have to worry about the other two attackers(well, not atleast on paper).
