About a fortnight ago, Leicester City’s beloved owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha passed away in a fatal helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium.

Vichai was leaving the stadium after watching Leicester City in action in the Premier League when his helicopter in the parking lot – killing him alongside four other people.

Along with Vichai, the four other people who passed away were Nusara Suknamai, Kaveporn Punpare, Eric Swaffer and Izabela Lechowicz.




And now the Leicestershire Police police has confirmed that all the bodies have been identified scientifically.




Detective Chief Superintendent David Sandall, of Leicestershire Police, also revealed that there was no way for Vichai to escape the helicopter.

Sandall said: “On Saturday, October 27 there was a helicopter crash in the car park of the King Power Stadium.








“Evidence from independent witnesses is that the people in the helicopter at the time were Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Nusara Suknamai, Kaveporn Punpare, Eric Swaffer and Izabela Lechowicz.

“CCTV shows the five victims in the tunnel at Leicester City football ground.




“Mobile phone footage showed the helicopter spinning out of control before descending to the crash site.




“There was minimal opportunity for anyone to get in or out of the helicopter at that time.

“The investigation is ongoing into the cause of the crash.”
