Manchester City youngster Leroy Sane has been linked with a shock move to cross-town rivals Manchester United.

During the 2017-18 season, Leroy Sane was one of the backbones for Pep Guardiola’s attacking third but the summer brought about a weird twist for the 22-year-old.

German national team manager Joachim Low chose to leave Leroy Sane out of the World Cup squad and if that was not enough, Leroy Sane had to prove his worth once again to his club manager at the start of the current season.

And it seems that Pep Guardiola is yet to be convinced with the youngster as Leroy Sane has managed to start only five games in the Premier League so far.

Recent reports suggested that Manchester United are planning to make a move for Leroy Sane at the end of the season and even the German is interested in shifting his loyalties.

But now Leroy Sane has himself spoken out on the rumours claiming a move to Man United is not on the cards.

Leroy Sane said: “That won’t happen! That won’t happen,

“That won’t happen at all. I am really happy here and I’m on the right side!”

“It’s so important not to just have one or two players who score the goals,

“Maybe one day they don’t score, and then the team doesn’t score at all.

“It’s a big strength for us that anyone can score the goals, and we have that hunger. But we also have a hunger to give each other assists, it makes things easier.

“In our team, we have players of good character who always want to win, always hungry, always want to improve, score goals, give assists and have a clean sheet,

“And we have a coach who keeps telling us we need to improve, improve, make more clean sheets, make fewer mistakes, and be more careful.

“It makes us so hungry to win the game and to score a lot of goals.”
