Earlier we had reported that Liverpool were planning to make a move for Bundesliga star Thorgan Hazard.

Hazard joined Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015 from Chelsea and now a number of top European clubs are interested in signing him up.

Apart from Liverpool, there is also Borussia Dortmund a club which want to make a move for Thorgan Hazard at the end of the season – as per reports.

Yesterday a number of reports had suggested that the Anfield outfit wanted to make a move as early as January and the club are willing to trigger the midfielder’s release clause at the club.

This news though has taken an unexpected turn with Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur making a very vital revelation regarding the transfer.

According to Terreur, Liverpool will never be able to trigger the release clause in Thorgan Hazard’s contract since there is no release clause in the first place.

If this bit of news holds true then the whole situation means the advantage goes back into Chelsea’s hands who surely have a buy-back clause in Thorgan Hazard’s deal with Monchengladbach.
