Dejan Lovren has been out of favour for Liverpool all throughout the current season and it looks like Jurgen Klopp finally wants him out.

Last season, the defender still managed to play a handful of games for the first-team but this campaign, he has fallen way down the pecking order.

Van Dijk has mostly been partnered by young Joe Gomez and in his absence, it has been Joel Matip who has played in central defence.

And this is why Dejan Lovren has so far played in only 13 games across all competitions in the 2019-20 season for Liverpool.

There had been a few rumours that the Croatian could move out of Anfield during the January transfer window but a move ultimately did not materialise.

But it looks like the player should be on his way out of the club at the end of the current season since Liverpool have reportedly dropped their asking price for the defender.

As per reports, the Reds were earlier asking for around 14 million pounds for Lovren but now they are willing to let him leave for a fee of just 10 million pounds.

If this news is true then it means that the days of Dejan Lovren at Liverpool are truly numbered despite his contract expiring in 2021.

A number of big clubs had previously shown interest in signing him last month and surely at such a bargain price, the defender will have lots of takers. But what remains to be seen is whether he chooses to stay in England or move to another league.
