Liverpool have been flying high this season but the manager still does not look too happy with his squad.

Jurgen Klopp wanted to sign an attacking midfielder this summer and many believed that Lyon star Nabil Fekir would be the one.

But that deal for Fekir broke down during the final few days and Liverpool are yet to fulfil that wish.

Now according to reports, Liverpool have set their eyes on Thorgan Hazard – the brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Thorgan Hazard was amongst the ranks at Chelsea for a couple of years and but the player ultimately moved to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015.

And during his time at the club, Thorgan Hazard has become one of the mainstays of the club and this season the Belgian has already clocked up 11 goals in just 16 games for the German outfit.

Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Thorgan Hazard and Jurgen Klopp is planning to make a move for the player during the January transfer window.

Chelsea though might have other plans for Thorgan Hazard as some reports suggest that the Blues want to use the player as a counterweight to bring BVB’s Christian Pulisic to the club.

Chelsea have a buy-back clause in Hazard’s contract and rumours in Germany suggest that BVB want to sign Thorgan this summer.

The Blues are planning to use this situation to their advantage by bringing back Thorgan Hazard and then use him to force BVB into selling Pulisic.

Liverpool at this point of time are ready to trigger his release clause at the club but whether Thorgan Hazard moves to Anfield or not totally lies on Chelsea’s mindset.
