Lucas Torreira has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal this season and right now clubs like Napoli and AC Milan want to sign him – as per reports.

The Uruguayan has seen very little game this season and there have been rumours that he is looking to move back to Italy during the January transfer window.

AC Milan have been on the hunt to sign him during the summer and right now even Napoli want him onboard as a replacement to Brazilian Allan.

And recently, the player’s manager hinted that the 23-year-old could look to move out of the club in the future, thereby fueling more rumours that Lucas Torreira wants to move out.

“Anything is possible in football,” Bentancur told Radio Marte[as reported].

“Torreira is happy at Arsenal, although the change in role has not made him happy. It must be said that this year the whole team is not doing well. But I believe Arsenal wants to keep him.”

The Gunners obviously do not want to part ways with the player since he is being viewed as the player who would replace Granit Xhaka in central midfield.

But it all depends on the transfer window and whether Unai Emery is looking to bring in a new midfielder during that time frame.

Now Lucas Torreira has himself spoken out on his future at the club claiming he will only thing about the transfer when the right time comes.

The player said: “Today Arsenal needs me to be focused. I can’t start talking about another team.

“I need to be focused and when the transfer window arrives we will see what will happen. I don’t know what can happen in the future. But I wish I could play in Boca. It’s a dream that I have for what that institution represents.”

This statement is a clear indication that Lucas Torreira is not too happy with his life at the Emirates and if Emery does not act swiftly then he could very well lose yet another top player.
