Manchester United put on a brave fight vs Barcelona at Old Trafford but in the end, the Catalans edged the game 1-0.

Barcelona were handed an early lead thanks to a Luke Shaw own-goal and that was more than enough to settle the first leg.

United though performed far better at home this time around that they had done against PSG in the last round but a lack of quality in the final third meant the likes of Rashford and Lukaku weren’t able to test Ter Stegen throughout the whole 90 minutes.

Most pundits believe Man United can still make a comeback during the second leg given their recent heroics against PSG at the Parc Des Princes.

But Romelu Lukaku believes the tie at Camp Nou will be completely a different affair.

“Barcelona is a whole different team, with all the respect that I have for PSG,” Lukaku told French radio station RMC(as reported).

“We were admittedly really lucky over there on that night.

“But against Barcelona, it will be much more difficult.

“There was room to play. But this is Barcelona.

“We know that they have quality and that they can make the difference in each moment.

“There is a bit of frustration, but I think that we have the qualities in our team to make the difference over there.

“But we will have to be concentrated throughout the entire match.”

Paul Pogba though had other predictions.

“We are 1-0 down and now go to the Nou Camp, but we believe chances will come over there,” said Pogba.

“We have to keep believing. It’s a Champions League game and we know we can hurt them as well as they can hurt us.

“Probably Paris will be in their minds for sure because they saw what we can do against PSG.

“Obviously they will be comfortable on their own pitch but let us see. We’ll see what happens at the end.”
