Man City have spent a large part of the season in the second spot but when the right time arrived, they beat Arsenal and have now taken over the top spot on the Premier League table.

In their next match, Manchester City will face Leeds United, a team who have just appointed Big Sam in a bid to avoid relegation at the end of this month.

Man City are practically unstoppable right now as they have won nine of their previous nine matches and have netted 12 goals in their last four games. City have a terrific record against the Elland Road outfit scoring 14 goals in their last three meetings.

We are expecting a very straightforward win for the Cityzens on Saturday but Pep Guardiola will have to be aware of the new manager bounce because Big Sam is vastly experienced. Also, after this game, Man City face Real Madrid in the Champions League so Pep will have one eye on that key semi-final tie as well.

Manchester City’s team news and injuries:

Kevin De Bruyne missed the West Ham United game as well but there’s a chance he could be back in action on Saturday.

Nathan Ake made a comeback from his injury setback in midweek but as per Guardiola’s last update, De Bruyne was yet to return to training. Leeds United are not a very strong side and with the Madrid game just around the corner, we don’t think KDB will be risked if he is not 100% fit.

Ederson was rested on Wednesday but he will be back in the starting lineup along with Manuel Akanji(who replaced Kyle Walker).

The Madrid game is very important for Man City so Guardiola will be itching to make a few changes but they are just one point ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League which is why he cannot afford to make any major changes this weekend.

Grealish and Riyad Mahrez both clocked in assists against the Hammers but Phil Foden will be pushing for a start on one of the wings.

Gundogan was rested in midweek so he will come in but if Kevin de Bruyne is not ready then Julian Alvarez will hold onto his place in the side.

Man City predicted line up vs Leeds United:

Predicted Starting line up(3-2-4-1): Ederson; Akanji, Nathan Ake, Ruben Dias; John Stones, Rodri; Grealish/Foden, Mahrez, Gundogan, De Bruyne/Alvarez; Haaland.
