Man United picked up a win in the Premier League, this time beating Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park and next up, they take on Chelsea in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

The Red Devils did not fully command the game vs the Eagles but it was their pacy forwards who were too hot to handle for Roy Hodgson’s men and according to Michael Owen, United’s attacking line-up is now comparable to the best in Europe.

The pundit told Premier League Productions, as reported by Goal: “They have got pace, they’ve got skill, great touch and they are backed up by a couple of players in behind them that can feed them the bullets.

“[Paul] Pogba is absolutely brilliant and of course [Bruno] Fernandes has had a great start to his Manchester United career.

“In those five players, we are seeing something very, very special that could compete at the very highest level.

“We talk about the great attack of Man City, Liverpool and Barcelona over the years, well this is developing into something special.”

It’s no secret that Man United are still shaky in defence and that is something that Chelsea will be focusing on during their FA Cup clash.

But Frank Lampard will have to ensure that his defenders are fully focused since when Man United decide to shift gears, they are easily the best-attacking team in England right now.

The likes of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood are all amongst the goals since the resumption of the 2019-20 season and on top of that, the Blues have not been able to beat Manchester United this season.

On paper, this should be an evenly fought contest but with the kind of form that Man United are in right now, Solskjaer’s men will undoubtedly go into this game as the slight favourites.
