Man United take on Chelsea in the Premier League next week and this could be a really important game for the Red Devils.

Manchester United had a number of chances to get back into the top-four of the table during the past couple of games but they have managed to win just one out of their past five league matches.

Right now, the Old Trafford outfit are eight on the table – six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea and according to former keeper Mark Bosnich, a lot depends on this match for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Bosnich feels if Man United fail to win this clash vs Chelsea on Monday then they might have to say goodbye to their dreams of getting back into the Champions League next season.

“I don’t think it’s win or bust but you could lean towards it being lose or bust,” the ex-goalkeeper told Sky Sports.

“I think it’s a must not lose. The gap will be a little bit far to catch up if they lose, but not win or bust no.

“They’re not far off and Chelsea will be looking to this with Tottenham breathing down their necks and they’re at home.

“They both had a week’s break so it will be a very important game for both sides. For Chelsea and Frank Lampard, they will be looking to get breathing space between them and the chasing sides.”

The middle of the league table is congested like anything and given now inconsistent all the teams have been this season, Chelsea, along with the likes of Spurs and Sheffield United are surely going to drop further points during the remainder of the season.

And in such a scenario, it will be absolutely vital for Man United to stop losing unnecessary points if they will to climb up the table and finish in the top-four by the end of May.
