Man United dropped points yet again at home this time drawing 0-0 against Wolves in the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes made his debut for the club but the Portuguese could not help the Red Devils to a victory as Ole’s men looked toothless infront of goal and apart from a few decent efforts, they did not have anything significant.

But speaking after the game, the Man United manager had come out to claim that 0-0 was a fair result given the two teams have played each other several times in the past couple of weeks.

The manager told Sky Sports, as quoted by Manutd.com: “The ground staff have moved the goal half a yard, I’m sure!

“We were close in the second half. I thought we dominated the game, controlled it quite well, but then again you can never say you’ve controlled the game against a team with the pace they’ve got on the counter-attack and with the quality they’ve got on set-plays.

“But we’ve had 65 per cent possession and we’ve not conceded – we’ve played them three times in two weeks and we haven’t conceded a goal.

“We’ve only scored one as well, but they’re hard to break down.

“I think he thought he’d scored as well.

“A nice little run into the box, great work by Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] down the side, but we didn’t do enough to win the game so 0-0 is probably a fair result, even though I felt we dominated possession.”

Man United could have picked up all three points but right now they are seriously lacking some firepower in and around the final third of the pitch.

And until they can manage to find that person with cutting edge, Solskjaer will have to be content with picking up points here and there.
