After losing to Leicester and Liverpool last week, Man United dropped points once again in the Premier League, this time settling for a 1-1 draw vs relegated side Fulham.

This was United’s first home game in front of a crowd for more than a year but Ole’s men failed to put up a glittering show for the returning fans as Fulham held on to nick a 76th-minute equaliser.

Man United were without a doubt the better side on the night but someone the scoreboard did not reflect that and according to Bruno Fernandes, they need to find the back of the net more frequently or else things could go south during the Europa League final.

“We didn’t score the chances we had. Sometimes it’s our problem in games we draw and lose. We create many chances but we don’t score,” Fernandes told Sky Sports after the Fulham clash, as quoted.

“I think in the future I think this problem will change and now our focus has to be on the next game against Wolves.

“We then have three days before the final in the Europa League and I think we have enough to prepare well.”

Manchester United have now won just one out of their previous five league matches but thankfully their top-four spot is secured so Solskjaer has nothing to be too worried about, not at least in the league.

But they do take on Villarreal in the Europa League final next week and if Man United are wasteful in front of goal in Gdansk as well then Unai Emery’s side could tear them apart.

Against Fulham, Man United had 13 shots during the matches, six of them on target but they could find the back of the net with only one of them. Mason Greenwood did have the chance to seal things off in the second half with a glorious one-on-one chance but the Fulham keeper managed to save it as well.

Players like Pogba and Marcus Rashford has been under-performing for Manchester United for some time now so Ole will have to sit down with his forwards and make sure they are more clinical when they face Villarreal in the final.
