Man United have made an unbeaten start to 2024 and they will be hoping the positive run continues when they welcome Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.

Manchester United are currently sitting on the sixth spot but they are still very much in the fight for a top-four finish. Villa and Spurs have lost a lot of momentum as the season’s rolled along so there’s every chance United can move above them in the coming weeks.

Man United are unbeaten in their previous seven matches while Fulham have won just one out of their previous five games. Also, in 16 visits to Old Trafford, the Cottagers have managed just a single win against the home side and that came way back in 2003.

Ten Hag’s men are the overwhelming favourites to win this weekend and a commanding three-pointer will also be very essential because their next EPL match will be an away game against Man City and they will not want to go into the derby with faltering confidence.

Manchester United’s team news and injuries:

Anthony Martial, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount, Lisandro Martinez and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all ruled out with various injuries and Luke Shaw is the latest addition to this long list.

The left-back picked up a knock during Manchester United’s win over Luton Town and the club has now confirmed that Shaw is going to be on the sidelines for some time.

An official update has stated: “Luke Shaw has sustained a muscle injury and will be out for an extended period. Further assessment is still needed to determine the severity but we expect him to be absent for a few months.”

The left-back position will perhaps be the only change from the Luton win with Victor Lindelof coming into the back line to replace Luke Shaw.

Casemiro did not have the best of games last weekend but we think Erik ten Hag will keep him in the starting line up alongside Kobbie Mainoo.

Rasmus Hojlund became the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League matches and the youngster is finally looking up to pace. Now, if Rashford can somehow find his peak form from last season then Man United will have one of the most promising attacking lineups in England.
