Kylian Mbappe PSG vs Man City
Kylian Mbappe - PSG

Manchester United are planning to make an audacious bid for France forward Kylian Mbappe – according to reports.

Spanish outlet Don Balon are reporting that Manchester United are planning to offer the services of their forward Anthony Martial plus £167 million in exchange for the PSG star.

Mbappe moved to PSG in the summer of 2017 from Monaco on loan and the deal would then be made permanent for a transfer fee which is expected to be in the region of €145 million plus €35 million in add-ons.

This deal once it goes through will make Kylian Mbappe the second most expensive player in the world after Neymar.

And Neymar is also his teammate at PSG after the French club brought him from Barcelona last summer for a transfer fee £198 million.

Making two heavyweight signings have seriously ruffled up PSG’s financial statements and the report suggests that the club are willing to part ways with Mbappe after just one season.

Manchester United have caught wind of this news and the Red Devils are planning to capitalize on it.

The Old Trafford outfit are willing to offer PSG Martial also with payments in the region of £167 million.

While Martial’s services will surely attract PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel but the money that will come in as part of that deal can go a long way in balancing out PSG’s financial statements.

Jose Mourinho already has an array of forwards in his squad and there is no doubt that a couple of them will leave during the summer transfer window.
