Man United return to the Premier League this week as they take on Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur away from home on Friday night.

The Red Devils are three points off the top-four spot on the league table meaning if they can pick up a win vs the Lilywhites, Solskjaer’s men will move above Chelsea, temporarily.

Man United had been in fine form right before the lockdown was enforced and the Red Devils have won their last 3 matches against Tottenham in all competitions.

Also, the OT outfit are undefeated in their last 5 Premier League matches and if there’s no major problem, we expect United to pick up a win against Mourinho’s men on Friday.

Man United team news vs Spurs:

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will start in central defence while Eric Bailly will remain on the bench. Games will be coming thick and fast now meaning Bailly should be getting ample playing-time – if he can keep himself fit.

Luke Shaw revived himself right before the break and should be starting at left-back on Friday while Aaron Wan-Bissaka is deployed on the right-hand side.

Paul Pogba is back to full fitness but we doubt if Ole will want name the Frenchman in his starting line-up for such a high profile match. He could come in as a second-half substitute.

McTominay should start alongside Fred in central midfield but there’s also a chance Nemanja Matic could replace the Man United academy graduate just like he did vs Man City a few months ago.

Bruno Fernandes has really changed Man United’s playing style ever since he’s joined the club and the Portuguese will be one of the first names on the teamsheet for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Marcus Rashford has used this shutdown to his advantage by making himself fully fit and available for selection meaning the England international will play on the left flank while Daniel James should be operating on the right-hand side.

Anthony Martial will get a nod upfront but the Frenchman will be replaced by Odion Ighalo sometime in the second half of the match.
