Man United have had a rather quite transfer window but Ole Gunnar Solskajer believes that he has gotten his hands on the right man.

Man United have brought in Daniel James from Swansea and recently they also bagged the services of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.

Now the Norwegian boss has hinted that the club is also working on two more possible transfers and both these players will services different purposes.

“It’s a long-term and it’s a short-term project,” Solskjaer told the club’s official website(as reported by the Standard).

“You cannot just think three years down the line, so we’ve got short-term goals as well, of course.

“I think we’ve been quite calm and good in the market as we’ve got the right people, and we’’re still working on a case or two.

“We’re always looking to improve the squad and, all over the summer, I’ve been in touch with Joel [Glazer] and Ed [Woodward] and all the recruitment people, and analysis people

“I’ve got to say it’s been very good so far. I’ve got the backing and we’ve got the people we wanted, for now, and there will probably be some more business being done.”

Man United have been heavily linked with Harry Maguire and if reports are to be believed then Leicester have already rejected a bid from the Red Devils.

But Solskjaer is still adamant on signing the centre-back and he is expected to make another move in the upcoming weeks.

Apart from Maguire, Newcastle United’s Sean Longstaff has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The young midfielder might have featured in only 10 Premier League games last season but we do not think Mike Ashley will let him leave until he can find a replacement to Rafa Benitez.
