Man United vs Arsenal has always been one of the centrepieces for the English Premier League but recently a lot of sheen has faded off from this high-intensity encounter.

Both these sides failed to qualify for the Champions League this season and there are serious doubts as to whether they will be able to get back in the top tier next season or not.

The Gunners visit Old Trafford on Monday on the back of two good victories while Man United lost their previous league game vs West Ham and then just about scraped through vs Rochdale in the League Cup in midweek.

The Man United vs Arsenal encounter should be a really engrossing one despite the teams’ poor form this season simply because a loss for either manager would just tighten the noose around their neck a bit more.
