Liverpool might have made a lot of money by selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona but the Brazilian’s career graph has since taken a nose dive.

Coutinho is yet to settle down at the Camp Nou and Ernesto Valverde is growing impatient with the player with each passing game.

During the 2018-19 season, has played in 25 games for the Catalan giants managing to score only four goals and provide two assists.

Philippe Coutinho signed a five-year deal at the club which means he is scheduled to stay at Barcelona until 2023.

But now it seems that Valverde has seen enough of the playmaker and Barcelona are planning to offload him during the summer transfer window.

Reports have suggested that Man United lead the race to sign Philippe Coutinho but now it seems the Red Devils have other ideas.

A few publications in Spain are claiming that Man United will not be pursuing Philippe Coutinho during the summer but instead, they will shift their focus towards Dortmund’s 18-year-old winger Jadon Sancho.

Sancho is a Man City youth team product who moved to BVB in 2017 and this season the youngster has caught the attention of many top European clubs.

This season the youngster has managed to score eight goals and provide 13 assists in just 25 league games and rumours have it that BVB are ready to cash in on him.

Manchester United feel that spending truckloads of money on Philippe Coutinho will not be a sensible move when they can easily get Jadon Sancho at a lesser price.

Right now Barcelona are doing perfectly fine without Philippe Coutinho in the first Xi meaning Valverde practically has no use of the player.

Up until now, Man United were said to be eager to sign the Brazilian but now that the Red Devils seem to be backing out, Barcelona could be in deep trouble given the price tag for Philippe Coutinho remains sky high.
