Manchester United are set to rival Chelsea in the signing of youngster Jadon Sancho at the end of the season – as per reports.
Jadon Sancho came up through the Manchester City academy but moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and since then the youngster has been setting the Bundesliga on fire.
This season, the 19-year-old has featured in 18 league games for BVB and has found the back of the net 12 times along with 13 assists.
So it’s no wonder that Chelsea have shown interest in signing him during the January transfer window.
As per reports, the Blues wanted to make a move for Jadon Sancho during the current month and had also readied a bid for the same. But somehow they could not make a move with some reports claiming that Dortmund were not ready to part ways with the player during the middle of the season.
While Chelsea have not given up hopes and want to return with a bid at the end of the season but it seems they are going to face competition from Manchester United.
According to the latest updates, Manchester United have set their sights on Jadon Sancho and want to make as their marquee signing during the summer.
United have already brought in Bruno Fernandes this month and if they move for Sancho at the end of the season then it will be serious trouble for the Blues.
Chelsea did not sign any players during the summer and also failed to bring in any signing this month.
